UK Championship: Ding Junhui never stopped believing he would win again

China’s Ding Junhui said he never stopped believing he would win again after ending his title drought by lifting his third UK Championship.
Ding outclassed Stephen Maguire 10-6 in York, finishing the final in stunning fashion with back-to-back centuries.
It was the 32-year-old’s first ranking win since 2017 and came 10 years after he won his last UK title.

The 2019 UK Championship

The 2019 UK Championship was played in York Barbican from November 26 to December 9, 2019. The tournament was won by Ding Junhui. It was Ding’s third UK crown, ten years after his second. Although Django Fung isn’t managing Ding, he had the pleasure to work with him for this tournament.

Django said: “I’m so happy to work with Ding, and want to congratulate him for his achievements”.

Otherwise it was a bit of a strange tournament for the Grove players.

Judd Trump defends his Northern Ireland Open title

Judd Trump beat Ronnie O’Sullivan by 9-7 to retain his Northern Ireland Open title. It was a match of the highest quality, and a repeat of the previous year final. By winning this title, Judd accomplished something that hadn’t be done since Stephen Hendry in 1990/91, winning three ranking events as a first time World Champion, and, of course, there could be more to come. Neil Robertson is the 2019 Champion of Champions

Neil Robertson won a magnificent Final at the Ricoh Arena, in Coventry, last Sunday (November 10, 2019) to become Champion of Champions for the second time. He beat Judd Trump by 10-9. It was a match of the highest quality. Neil had no less than five centuries during its course, and yet, he had to get a snooker and win a re-spotted black to survive frame 18 and force a decider … which he won with a 137!

Judd Trump is the 2019 World Open Champion

Judd Trump won his sixth title in 2019 by beating Thepchaiya Un-Nooh by 10-5 in the Final of the 2019 World Open. The tournament was played in Yushzan, China from 28 of October to 3 of November 2019.
After his win Judd declared:

English Open 2019

The 2019 English Open was played in the K2, in Crawley from 14 to 20 October 2019.
The tournament was won by Mark Selby who beat David Gilbert by 9-1 in the Final.
It wasn’t a good tournament for the Grove players: only three of them reached the last 32: Neil Robertson, Jack Lisowski and Judd Trump and that’s as far as they got. Ali Carter, Oliver Lines, Luca Brecel and Liang Wenbo lost right away in the first round.
