Neil Robertson
Neil Robertson was born on 11 February 1982 in Melbourne, Australia.
At the age of 14 Neil was the Australian under-18 champion, and turned professional two years later.
A taste of things to come came in 2003 when Neil won the non-ranking Benson & Hedges Championship to qualify for the Masters for the first time.
The breakthrough came at the Grand Prix in 2006 when Neil beat Jamie Cope in the final to win his first ranking event. This was followed up victory in the Welsh Open in early 2007. Neil was the only
player to win two ranking events in the 2006/7 season.
Neil is now ranked no 10 in the world, enjoying his second season in the top ten.
