Sean O’Sullivan

No relation to his famous namesake, Sean O’Sullivan is just 15 years of age. Sean first showed his talent in the English Under 13 Championships in 2006, reaching the last 16 aged just 11, and in the Essex Under 18 Championship in 2006, which he won aged just 12.

Further success came in a number of tournaments in 2007, including the Upton Park Handicap, an adult competition which Sean has now won five times, with a high break of 83.

Tower Hamlets council recognised this talent and Sean became the first person to be awarded at £500 bursary, presented at the Lloyds Building in London.

In August 2008 Sean was selected to play for England in both the U14 full and U16 “B” teams at the EASB Home Internationals in Prestatyn. In January 2010 he won the Grove’s inaugural 6 Red championship.

Sean attends the Bishop Challenor School and we’re hoping for great things in the years to come.
