The Grove is delighted to welcome China’s Yu Delu to our team.

Born in October 1987, Yu joined the Main Tour in 2011 after an excellent year which saw him at the top end of the rankings in China; in September 2010 he was placed no 2, narrowly behind Ding Junhui.

As a wildcard he has reached the last 32 of a major ranking tournament no less than four times – at the China Open in 2006, 2007 and 2009 and at Shanghai in 2007. He also took part in the Hainan Classic in 2011 and enjoyed wins over Ding Junhui and Ricky Walden before losing to Graeme Dott.
