The partners of Grove Leisure, Django Fung and Paul Golder, took over the existing Grove club in Romford in 2002. Django and Paul both have many years experience and success in retail, management and accounting and this helped to turn the fortunes of the club round to become one of the most successful clubs in the country.

In 2007 the Grove moved into player management and started to look after the affairs of both seasoned professionals and young players. It is our aim to help develop talent and bring it to a bigger stage.

The Grove now has a stable of top players from both the UK and China including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Jack Lisowski, Liu Song, Yu Delu, Zhang Anda and Chen Zhe. We also sponsor two young players, Billy O’Connor and Ryan Marriner. In addition we regularly arrange commercial deals, including waistcoat sponsors and exhibition matches, for other top professionals including Mark Williams, Shaun Murphy and Stuart Bingham.
