27 October- 3 November, 2013.
Judd, Wenbo, Anda and Li Yan all qualified for the last 64. Judd is the defending champion. On day 1, Li Yan and Wenbo had to play each other and Wenbo prevailed by 6-3. Unfortunately Judd and And a both lost on day 2. Wenbo beat Ronnie in the last 32, then outplayed Mark Davis in last 16. Dotty however proved too strong for him in the quarters.

Liang Wenbo wins AT3 2013 – Zengzhou, China

Asian Tour Event 3 – Zengzhou, China, 20-24 October 2013
All Chinese Grove players are involved. In round 1, they all beat their Chinese amateur opponents. Wenbo and Yu Delu got a bye. Round 2 was less successful: only Wenbo won his match whilst Cao Xin Long benefitted from Ding Junhui withdrawal. Cao lost in round 3. Wenbo beat Rouzi Maimaiti in last 16 and Liu Chuang in the quarters. He then beat Anthony McGill in the semis and whitewashed Lyu Haotian in the Final. First ranking event win! Well …

Indian Open 2013, Delhi, India

Snooker was invented in India, but the Indian Open 2013 – 14-18 October 2013 – is the first ranking event played there. The format is best of 7 throughout, except for the Final that is best of nine. Wenbo, Li Yan, Anda, Sleepy and Yu Delu have qualified, but Yu didn’t get his visa unfortunately. Wenbo, Anda and Li Yan are now in the last 32. Only Wenbo made it to the last 16 where he fell to the World n°1, Neil Robertson.

ET5 – Ruhr Open 2013

Mülheim an der Ruhr – 4-6 October 2013. The first day wasn’t a good one fro Grove as Li Yan, Li Hang and Anda all lost in the last 128. The second day was a bit better as Judd qualified for the last 16, but Wenbo, Yu Delu and Sleepy all lost in last 128. On the final day, Judd made it to the last 8 where he lost 4-1 to Mark Allen who went to win the event.
