Judd wins the International Championship 2012

Following Ronnie’s withdrawal, Judd was the only Grove player in Chengdu as the International Championship ran from October 28, till November 4, 2012. He booked his place in the final taking the World n°1 spot. And to top a great week he beat Neil Robertson 10-8 to take the title!

I’m very sorry that I had to officially withdraw from the International Championship, due to ongoing health problems. I would have loved to be fit to compete in Chengdu but I have been advised by my doctor not to travel.I want to sincerely apologise to Worldsnooker, the sponsors and the fans for the disappointment caused. Liang Wenbo and Stuart Bingham have qualified for the final phase of the Gdynia Open (5-7 October 2012). Wenbo played Andy Hicks at 11am (local time) on the 5th in the very first match of the tournament and beat him 4-0. He the faced Jimmy White in the last 16 and lost 3-4 having lead 3-1 and 47-0. At the same stage, Stuart lost by the same score Tian Pengfei in a rather strange match. More detailed result here
