Judd, Wenbo, Anda and Li Yan all qualified for the last 64. Judd is the defending champion. On day 1, Li Yan and Wenbo had to play each other and Wenbo prevailed by 6-3. Unfortunately Judd and And a both lost on day 2. Wenbo beat Ronnie in the last 32, then outplayed Mark Davis in last 16. Dotty however proved too strong for him in the quarters.

Judd didn’t play badly as his scoring proves, but Alan also played well and very positively. It all came to one shot in the decider. Judd tried a pond that would have been a winner had he got it, but he missed and Alan went to win.
