Snooker Shoot Out 2011

Judd Trump was the Grove’s representative in the inaugural Snooker Shoot Out, sponsored by caesarscasino.com and televised on Sky. The format was one 10 minute-frame with penalties for slow play.

The top 64 players took part and Judd came up against Dave Harold in round one, winning a difficult match 58-31. He had an even closer contest in round two with a 31-30 victory against Mark Davis.

Another close match in the Last 16 saw Judd beat Peter Lines 39-37 and Judd was then drawn against Robert Milkins in the quarter-finals. Robert won this match 50-27 and went on to reach the final, where he lost 23-58 to Nigel Bond.
