PTC Finals: Dublin, 17-20 March 2011

Judd Trump and Jack Lisowski made it through to the final 24 of the inaugural PTC Grand Final.

The finals are open to the top 24 players who took part in at least 10 of the 12 PTC events during the 2010-11 season. Judd finished 5th partly thanks to a win in EPTC1 – the Paul Hunter Classic – and Jack made it to the 20th on the list helped by his appearance in the final of PTC4.

However neither player was able to progress further; Jack lost in the first round to Andrew Higginson 4-1 and Judd met Martin Gould in the second round and lost 4-2. Martin made it through to the final where he was beaten by Shaun Murphy 4-0.

Jack’s season is now over but can look back with some pride on his first year on tour which gave him three finals finishes and a provisional ranking of 52. Judd’s season isn’t over yet as he is due to play in the WSC finals but he has also had an excellent year and is currently provisionally ranked 20.
