The World Games 2013 were held in Cali, Columbia, in July 2013 and various cue sports were represented. Wenbo was one of the 16 snooker players involved and he got the silver medal in the men’s single snooker competition.

Wenbo defeated Noppon Saengkham, from Thailand, in the last 16, by 3-1. He then got the better of the defending Champion, Nigel Bong, in the last 8, again by 3-1. He beat Igor Figuereido, from Brazil, by 3-1 in the semis. He faced an in form Aditya Mehta in the Final which he lost by 0-3. “Adi” played really well winning the first in one visit with 84, nicking the second with a 33 clearance and wrapping the match up with a century, 117. Only one thing to say there: Well done!
