The tournament took place from 20 to 26 June 2020 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England. It was played without a crowd. It was the last event of the Coral Cup series, and they started the tournament as ranked 1 and 2 in the order of merit, aiming for the coveted Coral Cup. However, they were both beaten by the man who hadn’t qualified for the event and was only in the draw because Ding withdrew, citing concern over the coronavirus situation: Stephen Maguire. Stephen beat Neil in the QF, Judd in the SF, and Mark Allen in the final, taking the Coral Cup and the highest break bonus as well.
