The 2021 British Open was played at the Morningside Arena in Leicester from 16 to 22 August 2021. The event was won by Mark Williams who beat Gary Wilson by 6-4 in the final. All Grove players were involved except Ding Juhui and Neil Robertson… who was getting married! Congratulations Neil, Mille, and the whole family!
It was Ali Carter again who had the deepest run, he reached the last 16 round.
Judd Trumps’s defeat in the last 32 meant that he lost the World Number One spot: he was overtaken by the reigning World Champion Mark Selby
