All professional members of the Grove team took part in the 2023 Welsh Open. For the first time, the tournament was played in Llandudno in North Wales. It ran from 13 to 19 February 2023. Joe Perry was the defending champion. It was won by Robert Milkins, who beat Shaun Murphy in the Final

None of the Grove players had a great tournament. Mark Selby, Judd Trump and Ali Carter were all beaten in the last 32 round. Dind Junhui and Neil Robertson lost in the last 64.
