The 2024 Welsh Open was played from 12 to 18 February 2024 in Venue Cymru, in Llandudno, Wales. Robert Milkins was the defending champion. The event was won by Gary Wilson who beat Martin O’Donnell by 9-4 in the final.

All Grove players qualified for the main venue but Ding Junhui and Mark Selby lost in the last 64, the first round in Berlin. Neil Robertson went one better. Luca Brecel reached the quarter-finals where he lost by 5-3 to the eventual runner-up, Martin O’Donnell. This was actually the first time of the season that Luca went deep into a tournament.
