Shanghai Masters 2011

Three Grove players made the trip to Shanghai to take part in the final stages of this year’s Shanghai Masters.

Ronnie O’Sullivan started his campaign with a 5-1 win against James Wattana which included breaks of 111 and 110, but lost 3-5 to Anthony Hamilton in round two.

Judd Trump came up against another in-form player – Australian Open champion Stuart Bingham – in the first round and was defeated 1-5.

Jack Lisowski was drawn to stay playing in the wildcard round and beat local player Rouzi Maimaiti 5-2 before reaching the last 32 proper and losing 3-5 to world no 15 Jamie Cope.
