Tuesday 24th of July 2012
10 am – Chen Zhe 4-5 Scott Donaldson
Chen Zhe battled hard to force a decider from 1-3 down but it wasn’t enough. The young and very talented Scott Donaldson prevailed in the end.

2:30 pm – Liam Highfield 5-3 Zhang Anda
Zhang Anda came back from 1-3 to 3-3 but couldn’t get the better of Liam Highfield.

Wednesday 25 of July 2012
10 am – Yu DeLu 3-5 Scott Donaldson
Yu Delu won the first frame but after that Scott dominated the first session. He was 3-1 ahead at MSI. After the resumption Yu fought hard to come back 3-3. Scott however won the last 2, close, frames and the match.

2:30 pm – Li Yan 4-5 David Grace
It was heartbreak for Li Yan as he fought from behind for most of the match, brought it to the last pink and black in the decider and still lost it.

Thursday 26 of July 2012
7 pm – Liang Wenbo 4-5 Rod Lawler
Wenbo never looked at ease and Rod was ahead for most of the match. Wenbo though fought hard and managed to force a decider winning the eight frame by one point after what can only be described as a brave clearance. It wasn’t enough though …

7 pm – Jack Lisowski 1-5 Jimmy Robertson
Jack was nowhere near his PTC form and himself described his performance as “bad”. The score says it all.
