JUDD MADE A 147 in frame 3 of his last 32 match. Well done!

Last 128

Judd Trump 4-1 Cao Xin Long
48-92, 105(72)-29, 63-28, 116(109)-0, 96(96)-0
This time Judd didn’t let Cao dictate the pace. High scoring when in made sure he stayed in control of the match.

John Higgins 4-0 Chen Zhe
92(92)-0, 71-24, 60(60)-1, 72(59)-58
Bad day in office for Sleepy. Higgins wasn’t unbeatable, as it proved in the next match, but Sleepy was really not on his game. It happens.

Kurt Maflin 4-3 Li Hang
69(69)-13, 47-82, 0-76(76), 22-77(54), 138(138)-0, 120(116)-1), 59-28
This was in fact a high quality match, with high scoring from both in all frames but the decider. Kurt scoring power is hard to match when he’s on form.

Gary Wilson 4-3 Liang Wenbo
80(60)-44, 8-66, 31-105(97), 70-45, 56-100(69), 64-36, 64(58)-26

Marcus Campbell 1-4 Yu Delu
60(60)-68, 64-33, 19-66, 14-104(51), 57-66

Michael Wasley 4-3 Zhang Anda
41-54, 93(83)-0, 45-84(79), 83(51)-20, 11-85(73), 64-29, 77(77)-0
Blow for blow as none could get more than a frame ahead.

Last 64

Tepchaiya Un-Nooh 3-4 Judd Trump
0-80(80), 122(121)-0, 134(134)-0, 0-131(108), 0-127(111), 83-29, 36-94(75)
What a match! 4 centuries, plus 2 other breaks over 75 … But what were there thinking in frame 6?

John Astley 2-4 Yu Delu
35-75, 77-15, 79-60, 17-67, 38-77, 20-96(79)
Hard fought scrappy affair, but one has to win those as well.

Last 32

Judd Trump 3-4 Mark Selby
48-58, 35-75, 147(147)-0, 0-82, 74(74)-0, 104(104)-0, 2-103(80)
Two centuries, including his first 147, and another break of 74 were no enough for Judd to win. The key to victory, as often when facing Selby, was in winning the scrappy one and Judd didn’t manage that.

Yu Delu 1-4 Mark Allen
95-29, 9-92, 31-84(50), 3-57, 24-103(103)
