Neil Robertson, Judd Trump, Jack Lisowski, Ali Carter and Liang Wenbo were all involved in the prestigious invitational Shanghai Masters 2019. It was played from September 9 to September 15, 2019 and the event was won by Ronnie O’Sullivan, who beat Shaun Murphy by 11-9 in the final.

Neil was the most successful Grove player. He reached the semi finals where he lost by 10-6 to the eventual winner, Ronnie.
Jack Lisowski and Judd Trump both reached the QF stage, losing 6-1, to Shaun Murphy, the runner-up, and Mark Allen respectively.

Liang Wenbo narrowly lost to Mark Allen in round 2. He played well overall though.

Ali Carter surprisingly lost by 6-3 to wildcard Zhang Yi.
