The 2025 Players Championship was held in Telford from 17 to 23 March 2025. Mark Allen was the defending champion but he was beaten in the first round (last 16) by Kyren Wilson who went on to win the title, beating Judd Trump by 10-9 in the final

Ding Junhui and Wu Yize lost in the first round (last 16) to Mark Williams and Xiao Guodong respectively.
Mark Selby and Neil Robertson faced each other in the next round (QFs), with Neil prevailing by 6-3.
In the semi-finals Neil was narrowly beaten (6-5) by Kyren Wilson, the eventual champion.
