The 2025 Tour Championship

The 2025 Tour Championship was played in Manchester from 31 March to 6 April 2025. Mark Williams was the defending champion.
Only the top 12 players on the season “one year list” were invited and, remarkably, all Grove players except Luca Brecel qualified for the event.
Wu Yize was beaten in the first round (last 12). He lost to Xiao Guodong by 8-10.
Mark Selby and Ding both negotiated the first hurdle: Mark Selby beat Si Jiahui by 10-6 and Ding beat Mark Williams by 10-3 in the opening match of the tournament.

The 2025 Players Championship

The 2025 Players Championship was held in Telford from 17 to 23 March 2025. Mark Allen was the defending champion but he was beaten in the first round (last 16) by Kyren Wilson who went on to win the title, beating Judd Trump by 10-9 in the final

Neil Robertson is the 2025 World Grand Prix Champion

The 2025 World Grand Prix was played in Hong Kong for the first time, from 4 to 9 March 2025, Ronnie O’Sullivan was the defending champion but didn’t compete despite actually qualifying.
All Grove players, except Luca Brecel, had qualified.
Ding was the first to exit the tournament, beaten 4-3 by Xu Si in the round of 32.
Wu Yize won his opening match, but went of by 4-2 to Stuart Bingham, the eventual runner-up, and it was Bingham again who beat Mark Selby by 5-4 in the quarter-finals.

The 2025 World Open

The 2025 World Open was played in Yushan, China from 23rd of February to 1st of March, 2025. Judd Trump was the defending champion. The event was won by John Higgins who defeated Joe O’Connor by 10-6 in the final.
It wasn’t a great tournament for the Grove players.
Neil Robertson had entered the event but withdrew before his first match.
Mark Selby went out in the round of 64, beaten 5-2 by Liu Hongyu.

Mark Selby is the 2025 Welsh Open Champion

The 2025 Welsh Open was played in Llandudno, North Wales, from 10 to 16 February 2025. Gary Wilson was the defending Champion. Mark Selby won the event, beating Stephen Maguire by 9-6 in the Final.

The 2025 German Masters was played from 27 January to 2 February 2025 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, Germany. All Grove players qualified for the main event at the venue except Ding who didn’t enter the draw. Judd Trump was the defending Champion. The 2024 Wuhan Open was played from October 6 to October 12, 2024 at the China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Centre, Wuhan, China.

The 2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters

The inaugural Saudi Arabia Masters was played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 30th of August to 7th of September, in the Green Hall, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The price money of offer was the highest ever in snooker, bar the World Championship. The event was played from start to finish at the main venue which is how it should always be.
