The 2026 World Open was played in Yushan China, from 16 to 22 March 2026. John Higgins was the defending Champion.

The event was won by Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, who defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan by 10-7 in the final.
It was Ronnie who had narrowly defeated Wu Yize in the semi-finals (6-5).
Ding Junhui had entered the event but lost in the qualifiers to Marco Fu (5-2). Mark Selby also had entered the event and had qualified to play at the venue but withdrew in order to better prepare for the World Championship.
Neil Robertson had not entered this event.
