York Barbican, York – 24 November – 6 December, 2015.Neil won the UK Championship for the second time, beating Wenbo by 10-5. It was the first ever UK final, in 39 instalments, not featuring a UK or Irish player. Neil also made the first ever 147 in a UK Championship final in frame 6 of the match. It was the first in a triple crown final.
But Wenbo did play his part and many will have warmed to this lovely, animated boy who takes everyone along with him in his journey …

All Grove players, except Judd and Neil, entered the event. It was Anda who had the best run: he reached the QF, where he lost to Ding Junhui. Ding went on to win the event. Anda had beaten Wenbo in the previous round.

All Grove players entered the Ruhr Open 2015, played in Mülheim, Germany, 9th-11th October 2015. It wasn’t a great success for the Grove team as Cao Yupeng, Judd and Neil lost in last 128 already. It was James Cahill who beat Neil though. No Grove player reached the final day … Liang Wenbo had to withdraw as well.

Barnsley, UK, 30 September – 3 October, 2015
All players had to win one match to qualify for the television stage of the International Championship that will be played in the Baihu Media Broadcasting Centre, Daqing, China, end October 2015. Liang Wenbo last 128 match has been held and will be played at the venue. Yu Delu, Oliver Lines, Cao Yupeng and Neil Robertson are China bound, but Judd Trump got whitewashed by Michael Wild, which was certainly the shock of the round.

Fürth, Germany – 28-30 August 2015
The Paul Hunter Classic 2015 was won by Ali Carter which is particularly fitting considering how he beat cancer twice over the last years. It was his first title since his return to the game. Very well done to him.
All Grove players made the trip to Germany, except for Neil. Judd was the only one to reach the finals day; he lost to Michael Holt in the QF.

Barnsley, England – 5-9 August, 2015. All Grove players were trying to book their place in the television stages, played in Shanghai in September 2015, except fot Judd and Neil who are seeded in the top 16. Only Wenbo managed to qualify, although Li Hang came very close to make it. All the results and some matches videos below.

Those qualifiers are still played under a tiered system. Lyu Chenwei, Li Hang, Zhang Anda, James Cahill and Oliver Lines were competing, but none of them will make the trip to Bendigo. Judd and Neil are seeded in the top 16 and didn’t need to qualify. Judd is seed n°1 being the defending champion.

Crucible Theatre, Sheffield – 18 April -> 4 May 2015.
Neil, Judd and Anda are competing for the bigger prize in the game. Anda lost by 10-4 to Joe Perry in last 32. Neil was beaten by Barry Hawkins in the quarters, in a decider. Judd reached the one table setup stage but lost to Stuart Bingham in the SF. It was probably the best match of the tournament and it went to a deciding frame.

All Chinese players at Grove, except for Cao Xin Long, are trying to qualify for the World Championship 2015. They all have to win 3 matches in Ponds Forge, Sheffield. All matches are best of 19 over two sessions. All but Lyu Chenwei progressed to round 2. Yu Delu, Li Hang, Liang Wenbo and Zhang Anda reached the final round, but only Anda will be at the Crucible after beating Wenbo by 10-9 in their last qualifying match. Li Hang also lost in the deciding frame. Heartbreak!
