Neil Robertson is the defending champion at the Riga Masters and as such his first round match is held over. He will face Robert Milkins at the venue. The other Grove players who entered the event are Ali Carter, Luca Brecel, Jack Lisowski and Oliver Lines. All of them won their last 128 match and will be in Riga.

All the Grove players entered the International Championship 2019. Ali Carter, Liang Wenbo, Neil Robertson and Jack Lisowski won their qualifying match. Oliver Lines was unfortunate to be drawn against … Neil. Luca Brecel got a bye because his opponent was unable to get a visa in time. Judd Trump, being the reigning World Champion, has his first match held over to the venue in Daqing. He will play Jordan Brown. Neil and Liang were particularly impressive: Neil had five breaks over 50 in six frames, including three centuries, Liang had seven breaks over 50, including a century, in ten frames of which he won six.
