The last 128 qualifying round for the China Open 2016 was played in Barnsley from 9 to 11 February 2016. Cao Yupeng got his last match carried over to the venue in March as he will play the World Champion. Judd, Neil, Li Hang and Yu Delu qualified for the event proper and will be in Beijing come March.

Grove’s Neil and Judd are competing in the most prestigious invitational tournament in the calender, The Masters. Neil has won it in 2012 and was runner-up twice since, Judd reached the Semi Finals in 2012 but lost in the last 16 in 2014 and 2015,
Judd beat Stephen Maguire by 6-4 in the last 16 whilst Neil beat an ailing Marco Fu by 6-0.
They had to play each other in the QF and it’s Judd who came on top, a winner by 6-5, but lost …

The German Masters 2016 qualifying rounds took place in Wigan from 15th to 19th of December 2015. The players had to win 2 matches to book their place in the tournament proper that will be played in the Tempodron, Berlin, early February. Judd, Wenbo and Anda will be in Berlin, having won their two matches. The biggest surprise of those qualifiers was probably Neil’s defeat to an amateur, Ashley Hugill. Neil wasn’t alone in his fate though, as as many as 7 out of the top 16 failed to qualify. …

York Barbican, York – 24 November – 6 December, 2015.Neil won the UK Championship for the second time, beating Wenbo by 10-5. It was the first ever UK final, in 39 instalments, not featuring a UK or Irish player. Neil also made the first ever 147 in a UK Championship final in frame 6 of the match. It was the first in a triple crown final.
But Wenbo did play his part and many will have warmed to this lovely, animated boy who takes everyone along with him in his journey …

Coventry, UK – 2-15 November, 2015.
Judd and Neil were competing in the Champion of Champions 2015. Judd was runner-up to Ronnie O’Sullivan last year, but lost 4-2 to Kyren Wilson in the first round, on first day this time. Neil went on to win the event, beating Mark Allen by 10-5 in the Final.. He also got the tournament HB, 144 that he scored during the SF against Joe Perry.

Daqing, China – October 23-31, 2015
Cao Yupeng, Oliver Lines, Yu Delu, Liang Wenbo and Neil Robertson were in Daqing for the television stage of the tournament. Wenbo had his last 128 match held over. All except Cao reached the last 32, but only Neil progressed further. He lost to mark Selby in the QF.

All Grove players entered the Ruhr Open 2015, played in Mülheim, Germany, 9th-11th October 2015. It wasn’t a great success for the Grove team as Cao Yupeng, Judd and Neil lost in last 128 already. It was James Cahill who beat Neil though. No Grove player reached the final day … Liang Wenbo had to withdraw as well.

Barnsley, UK, 30 September – 3 October, 2015
All players had to win one match to qualify for the television stage of the International Championship that will be played in the Baihu Media Broadcasting Centre, Daqing, China, end October 2015. Liang Wenbo last 128 match has been held and will be played at the venue. Yu Delu, Oliver Lines, Cao Yupeng and Neil Robertson are China bound, but Judd Trump got whitewashed by Michael Wild, which was certainly the shock of the round.
