Billy O’Connor Snooker Marathon raises over 11K for charity!

Billy O’Connor is 17 years old and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15. He’s a very gifted young snooker player currently captaining England team. He organised a 24h snooker marathon on August 16, 2014, to support Teenage Cancer Trust. Several pros and former pros showed their support – Jack Lisowski, Neil Robertson Stuart Bingham, Mark King, Sean O’Sullivan were there – and the event raised a over £11000 for Teenage Cancer Trust! Neil is back to n°1 in the rankings!

Neil made a great start to the season 2014/2015. He won the Wuxi Classic in China, and followed up with a run to the final in Bendigo. That saw him go back at the top of the ranking list. Neil had been very disappointed to end last season as n°3 after being the n°1 for most of it. He did put that right really quick! Congratulations Neil!

Ethan continues to amaze !

Ethan now 11 is continuing to grow and improve at a fast rate and is now challenging the top 100 Senior Men.
Ethan has been competing as usual in Junior events where he reached the final at the Derby 4 star tournament a few weeks ago. He competed recently in the Junior British League where he played 10 matches and managed to win 9 of them – the only defeat being deuce in the fifth.

Billy’s snooker career continues to improve. He recently took part in the Star of the Future 2012 competition in Prestatyn, Wales. In February Billy met with 33 15yr and under fellow snooker players. In a group of 8 he finished top of his league, without being beaten, with 30 points and progressed to the last 16. Beating Billy Stanton 3-0 he then went on to the last 8 to beat Jake Mulligan 3-0.
