The first UK Players Tour Championship Event of the season ran from July 18 till July 22 in South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester. Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Judd Trump, Liang Wenbo, Li Yan, Stuart Bingham and Yu Delu were all competing. Jack beat Judd 4-3 in the quarters and Mark Williams by the same score in the semis. The final against Stephen Maguire went to the last black in the decider, but Jack couldn’t win it … but he will win one, soon, playing like that.

Congratulation to Stuart Bingham winner of the Asian PTC event 1 in Zhangjiagang, China. Chen Zhe, Zhang Anda and Yu Delu were also involved. The Australian Goldfields Open qualifiers ran from 12th to 15th of June, 2012 with Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Liang Wenbo, Yu Delu and Zhang Anda all trying to join Stuart Bingham, the defending Champion in Bendigo. Jack and Liang made it and are bound to Australia. Read here how it happened.

Chen Zhe earned his two years pro-card today by beating Jordan Brown 4-1 in the Q-School 2012 Event 1. He is now guaranteed to compete on the Main Tour in 2012/13 and 2013/14.
