Judd made it to the final, once again, but lost 7-2 to Stuart Bingham. Judd was very gracious in defeat, declaring that Stuart had been the best player throughout the tournament, and in the final, and was a deserved winner.

The UK PTC event 2 started on Wednesday, 8th of August 2012, in the SWSA in Gloucester. The pros started their campaign on Friday, 10th of August. All Grove boys, except for Ronnie, were in action. Judd and Wenbo reached the last 16. Read about it here

The Shanghai Masters 2012 qualifiers ran from Tuesday, 24th of July 2012, till Friday 27th of July 2012, in the Academy in Sheffield. Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Li Yan, Liang Wenbo, Yu Delu and Zhang Anda all tried to make it to the venue in September, and all lost their first match. Read more here

The first UK Players Tour Championship Event of the season ran from July 18 till July 22 in South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester. Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Judd Trump, Liang Wenbo, Li Yan, Stuart Bingham and Yu Delu were all competing. Jack beat Judd 4-3 in the quarters and Mark Williams by the same score in the semis. The final against Stephen Maguire went to the last black in the decider, but Jack couldn’t win it … but he will win one, soon, playing like that.

Stuart Bingham never sleeps … less than 24 hours after playing in the Final in Wuxi, China, he went to Bangkok, Thailand for the Sangsom 6 Red World Championship 2012. Judd Trump and Zhang Anda were also involved in the tournament. Stuart and Judd both qualified for the knockout stage. They met in the last 32 and Judd prevailed. After beating Mark Selby in an excellent match the last 8, Judd unfortunately lost to Shaun Murphy in the semi finals.

Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham were in China to compete in the Wuxi Classic 2012 that ran from June 25 till July 1, 2012. you can read here how the tournament unfolded .

Congratulation to Stuart Bingham winner of the Asian PTC event 1 in Zhangjiagang, China. Chen Zhe, Zhang Anda and Yu Delu were also involved. The Australian Goldfields Open qualifiers ran from 12th to 15th of June, 2012 with Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Liang Wenbo, Yu Delu and Zhang Anda all trying to join Stuart Bingham, the defending Champion in Bendigo. Jack and Liang made it and are bound to Australia. Read here how it happened.

Chen Zhe, Zhang Anda, Yu Delu, Liang Wenbo and Jack Lisowski were all involved in the Wuxi Classic qualifiers, but none of them could make it to the venue. You can read here about their matches and how they fared.

Chen Zhe earned his two years pro-card today by beating Jordan Brown 4-1 in the Q-School 2012 Event 1. He is now guaranteed to compete on the Main Tour in 2012/13 and 2013/14.
