Ronnie, Jack and Wenbo have landed in Poland (with Django of course but there is no table tennis involved, so …) The event was well attended, as well over 1000 people watched Ronnie beat Ali by 2-0 in the final match of the day, with a 137 in the process. The players got a fantastic reception, from the organisers, the sponsors and the public and each of them produced some great entertaining snooker as the (long) day unfolded on the table. Big thank you to everyone involved and in particular to Marcin Nitschke, the main man behind the organisation and a great player.

The UK PTC Event 3, is played in Gloucester, and the pros started their campaign on September 7, 2012. All Grove players entered, including Ronnie O’Sullivan who made his return to competition on Saturday, but it was short lived as he lost his last 128 match. On Friday, Judd and Sleepy won their three matches and booked their spot to the Final day, they were joined by Stuart on Saturday. The well established Paul Hunter Classic ran fro August 23 to August 27 2012, in Fürth, Germany. All Grove players, except for Ronnie, were there. The pros started their campaign on Friday, August 25 and Jack featured in the very first match at 9:30 local time. Unfortunately none of them went past the last 32. Read here how the team fared

The International Championship will be played in China end October and will have a format similar to the UK Championship as well as huge prize money. The qualifiers were played in Sheffield from August 19th to August 23, 2012 and all matches will be best of 11.

The qualifiers stages for the Gdynia Open, the Polish EPTC 2012 event, were held in the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield, from August 16, 2012 to August 18, 2012. The pros started their qualifying campaign on Friday, August 17th.
All Grove players except for Ronnie were in action. Stuart and Wenbo booked their trip to Poland.

The first UK Players Tour Championship Event of the season ran from July 18 till July 22 in South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester. Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Judd Trump, Liang Wenbo, Li Yan, Stuart Bingham and Yu Delu were all competing. Jack beat Judd 4-3 in the quarters and Mark Williams by the same score in the semis. The final against Stephen Maguire went to the last black in the decider, but Jack couldn’t win it … but he will win one, soon, playing like that.

Unfortunately, it was disappointment for Stuart Bingham as he failed to defend his title in Bendigo, Australia. Jack Lisowski and Liang Wenbo were also competing in the Goldfields Australian Open that ran from 9th of July till 15th of July 2012. All three lost in the last 32.
