The Grove gang headed to Bulgaria for the fourth European PTC event in Sofia. Jack, Judd and Anda were in action on day 1 and Jack and Judd are through to the Finals day. Li Yan and Liang Wenbo joined them on day 2. .Judd was the only one to survive the Sunday early morning start and went to win it beating John Higgins 4-0 in the Final!

The Snooker Lab Kay Suzanne Memorial Cup was played in the SWSA, in Gloucester and nearly all players were wearing pink in support to the fight against breast cancer. That terrible disease killed Kay Suzanne, Paul Mount’s sister, ten years ago so this tournament was very special. All Grove players were competing except for Ronnie who took the decision not to play anymore this season. Judd made the Final again!!! The Acuerate Antwerp Open 2012 started on October 17, 2012 with the amateur qualifying rounds. The pros came in action from Friday, October 19, 2012, on. Judd Trump, the defending champion, aimed at retaining his title, but the man he beat in what was branded the “best ‘best of 7′ ever”, Ronnie O’ Sullivan, will not compete in Belgium this time. Liang Wenbo and Stuart Bingham have qualified for the final phase of the Gdynia Open (5-7 October 2012). Wenbo played Andy Hicks at 11am (local time) on the 5th in the very first match of the tournament and beat him 4-0. He the faced Jimmy White in the last 16 and lost 3-4 having lead 3-1 and 47-0. At the same stage, Stuart lost by the same score Tian Pengfei in a rather strange match. More detailed result here

All Chinese Grove players, and Stuart were competing in Yixing, near Wuxi from Sunday, 23th of September on. Unfortunately none of them went further than round 3. Read the results here and have a look at the mini pictures gallery !

Ronnie, Jack and Wenbo have landed in Poland (with Django of course but there is no table tennis involved, so …) The event was well attended, as well over 1000 people watched Ronnie beat Ali by 2-0 in the final match of the day, with a 137 in the process. The players got a fantastic reception, from the organisers, the sponsors and the public and each of them produced some great entertaining snooker as the (long) day unfolded on the table. Big thank you to everyone involved and in particular to Marcin Nitschke, the main man behind the organisation and a great player.

The UK PTC Event 3, is played in Gloucester, and the pros started their campaign on September 7, 2012. All Grove players entered, including Ronnie O’Sullivan who made his return to competition on Saturday, but it was short lived as he lost his last 128 match. On Friday, Judd and Sleepy won their three matches and booked their spot to the Final day, they were joined by Stuart on Saturday. The well established Paul Hunter Classic ran fro August 23 to August 27 2012, in Fürth, Germany. All Grove players, except for Ronnie, were there. The pros started their campaign on Friday, August 25 and Jack featured in the very first match at 9:30 local time. Unfortunately none of them went past the last 32. Read here how the team fared

The International Championship will be played in China end October and will have a format similar to the UK Championship as well as huge prize money. The qualifiers were played in Sheffield from August 19th to August 23, 2012 and all matches will be best of 11.
Chen Zhe, Jack Lisowski, Li Yan, Liang Wenbo, Yu Delu and Zhang Anda were be in action but none of them managed to qualify for the main event.

The qualifiers stages for the Gdynia Open, the Polish EPTC 2012 event, were held in the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield, from August 16, 2012 to August 18, 2012. The pros started their qualifying campaign on Friday, August 17th.
All Grove players except for Ronnie were in action. Stuart and Wenbo booked their trip to Poland.
